Storks

My little sister is, like me, not quite as little these days.

She and I are racing the storks to August,

due dates four days apart.

And then hope to get the babes sleeping through the night before our twinsie nephew or nieces from our middle sis arrive in January...

That's right.

Three preggo sisters.

Hormones galore.

Grocery bill is running high around our homes.
And,

the husbands are in deep sympathy for each other.
Our parents,

mother in particular,

 just a little excited.

And so, the shower planning has been in the works for the sister entering motherhood

for while now...

Because she's just one of those ladies that shines.

Always has.

And, yesterday, it was a full house to bless her and celebrate the doll baby she's growing.


So,
we ladies (plus my solo ladies' man)

chatted

and caught up

and told baby stories

and already-mommies laughed when the momma-of-the-hour said she's been practicing for labor every night.

But she has.

And she'll rock it.

And then we gifted.

And finished with stork anticipation blessings for her and the babes.

And, oh,

are we gettin' excited for the

storks.
