Somehow this space
of memorizing the moments both of the mundane and monumental
celebrating the pause of these precious days
the soaking of the scenery of the life I've been given
it's been a little left behind in the
action that is our life.
So today is just a little behind the scenes of what our everyday has been.
One little man
getting so big
(five months yesterday)
two teeth, two good naps with lots of laughs in between,
and at his early bedtime he thinks his thumb is the best thing that's happened to him.
Yes,
he's growing into his own,
taking it all in...
And there's a lot to take in.
And our wild child
bubbling over with more words every day
(Our most recent fav is the "Nug." and point when someone else is fussing and in need of a good squeeze.)
the first one up every morning
pretty much doesn't stop...
ever.
And our little lady with two brothers is becoming more and more
a little lady with two brothers.
I find myself so equally challenged and inspired daily by the sponge that is her.
(Eight Bible verses memorized and just about has every letter and sound down...)
the learning taking place is just magic for this teacher's soul.
Yes,
the cold has set in
our daily scene is full
with projects half-finished and laundry waiting wet and books strewn and
some days with more patience than others
and most days looking like this,
and every day needing a lot of time with this.
And,
really,
the more time I spend with Him,
the more I realize just how beautiful, just how nice, just how amazing the scenery of my daily is.
Cuz,
really

the view couldn't get much better.
