Family

We're playing these pretty days with family. 

Soaking in the first rays of spring,

shedding layers and breathing fresh again.

My little four year-old takes it in cozy style.

She's pretty much a snuggle bug.

Meanwhile,

the two year-old man? 

Oh,

he'll take his spring with a side of rambunctious.

A lump of ornery as well.

He's just two

and a keeper.

He just likes to explore.

And run.

And play.

And be like daddy.

Spring

It's spring.

But,

we were snowed in this morning.

And so,

my neighbor sister and brother-in-law brought their three littles

and,

as our wonderful life is these days,

we were 

once again

outnumbered by the diapered.

 I couldn't help myself though

and took advantage of immobile little ones by jumping behind the camera to make them the models they are.

Two

Despite what the blizzard outside is suggesting,

March continues 

and it's a good thing

because between the five of us, 

we celebrate birthdays in only two of the months.

Today was our middle man's day.

Once again, the littles counted down to the sweets,

as we played all day

and finale-ed festivities with a family movie and pizza night,

plus the

cake.

T, you're special in your laughter, your boldness, your cuddle, your zeal. 

Son, every year is so full with you,

and you're only yet but two.

I've been a little quiet in this space lately, and

I'm just now getting around to sharing a link I've been meaning to since a couple days ago.

We all learn from each other, 

women, wives, mommas.

And I've learned a lot from the truths shared on another momma's blog and had the opportunity to share my own recent revelation about quiet time here.

Belated

I didn't get around to posting from our simple birthday night with this little girl.

Just a little belated.

Dinner together,

chips and salsa, of course.

Followed by two little gifts

and one birthday cake.

Ellie is learning how to navigate this link all by herself practicing her phonics skills.

This is another site that helps her listen for specific sounds in words.

We're still working on memorizing these verses. I especially like how the ABC order helps me keep them straight!
