Our trip to the city...

I followed my hubby blindly down subway stairs

And he carried both suitcases

But I was the one who saved us forty bucks by asking to share a cab

And we only got lost but once

On the last day

At three in the morn

In the worst place in town

But

We made it

With just a couple pics to share

Of our few days in the city

Getaway

Haven't yet unpacked.

Still haven't yet weighed after too many weekend getaway splurges.

Yikes.

Still haven't gotten outside yet for an afternoon run to make up for these getaway splurges.

But vakay calories don't count, right?

So, instead I have uploaded these.

And have kissed him again.

What a weekend of just two does for us...

We haven't even argued about whose turn it is to empty the diaper pail.

Yet.

Of course the day isn't over.

Just got back from time away. A little time with my momma, a little time with sister, bro-in-law and baby niecie and a good amount of time with just our little family.

Life is good.
