Last weekend's snippet was "our" birthday. My hubby and I share a birthday two days apart so we refer to the day in between as "our" birthday. He loves an older woman as I actually beat him into the world by fourty-eight hours so Friday I received flowers in my classroom from my sweetheart.

Carrying on a little tradition in my nearly tradition-less family, we celebrated with strawberry cake straight from my mother's recipe book. Delicious.

Then on my hubby's special day, we had a few friends over for pizza, drinks and games. It's kind of funny to see how quickly friends once fraternity brothers, double-date partners, and fellow newlyweds are now parent friends. Watching the fraternity boys one-by-one turn into coddling, cooing mushes with these little bundles of joy...precious.

It's hard to believe these little girls are only eleven months apart...they are starting to get to an age where they actually acknowledge each other...we're hoping for a pair of bffs. And, yes, that is a rattle around Ellie's ankle. She's really into fitting things together, around and over other things lately. Future architect, perhaps?

And, the newest addition to the pack, little George Baker. The best part about this picture is what you can't see...the hot momma's glass of wine, hidden conveniently out of view.

Yes, I think our little pumpkin nugget has a lot of love in her life. And she has a giant pink ball. Ellie loves her giant pink ball.

And life continues to be just about normal otherwise. Lovely and normal. But before we sign off, a few bath pictures for good measure.

Yes, this little charmer girl is growing like a weed and favorite little almost eighteen month old. Cheers to everything to come.
